Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist – NDC Chermside

Work Days: Monday & Tuesday | 8:00am – 5:00pm

We’re looking for a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our established team at NDC Chermside, working Mondays and Tuesdays. This is a primarily hygiene-focused position, supporting a team of three full-time dentists and delivering high-quality preventive and periodontal care, along with Zoom whitening.

About the Practice

Located inside Westfield Chermside, our modern four-chair practice is fully equipped with the latest dental technology, including EMS Airflow, CBCT/OPG, and iTero, and runs on D4W software.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team that includes experienced dentists and hygienists. Our Lead Dentist has been with the practice for over 12 years, and the wider team provides a broad range of services, including orthodontics, implant dentistry, and general anaesthesia for patients with special needs or high dental anxiety. Staff parking is available onsite.

About the Role

You’ll work independently to deliver hygiene services, periodontal maintenance, and oral health education. The role also involves supporting anxious patients and those with special needs, including close collaboration with Dr Jill Fisher.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

A qualification in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Comfortable working without DA support (for hygiene appointments)

Experience working with children and/or anxious patients

Confident working in a busy clinical setting

Personal Attributes:

Reliable, organised, and professional

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Team-oriented with a patient-first mindset
